October 29th – Visiting Artist: Federico Cuatlacuatl
Thinking about ones identity, looking inward, and reflecting on personal experiences this workshop offers rotoscoping animation techniques to create a short looping GIF. Using beginning level frame by frame animation techniques, we will create short animations that amplify personal identities. How do we tell our stories through experimental animation? How can animation help us explore and amplify our real lived experiences? This workshop seeks to explore these questions and how these artistic tools build agency and empowerment.
